Prusa MMU2 PTFE Holder M6 Passthrough Adapter
thingiverse
If the filament catches on edges when loading into the MMU, this mod might be for you! Before, I even thought about designing a pencil-sharpener for the filament. More than every second time I loaded a new spool into the MMU, I could not simply push the filament through, as it would get blocked before reaching the MMU's gears. The only way was to loosen the clamp, remove the PTFE-tube, feed the filament by hand into the MMU until it got caught, then reinstall the PTFE-tube and clamp. Tedious. Annoying. After replacing the original clamp-design with this, the filaments do no more catch, they just glide easily into the MMU until they catch their gear. The original Passthrough-Adapter by vertigo235 has M10-connectors for the PTFE-tubes, while I had M6-ones lying around. So I re-drew his stl and added the M6-threads instead of the M10. At first I was sceptical about the functionality of this concept, but I did find it so awesome I uploaded my version here as a Remix!
