I was close to coming up with something very similar, but the original creator nailed it first. Despite appreciating the original and not seeing any major issues, I think adding fillets in strategic locations can provide extra support. This remix might be unnecessary, but I'll give it a shot. What I did was insert a fillet where the adapter block connects to the existing design.
