Prusa MMU2 Filament Retract Bank
thingiverse
My Filament Retraction Bank for the Prusa MMU2 - A Universal Solution. This innovative design allows users to mount it in any orientation: linear, side by side, or stacked, with filament fed from either direction. The large diameter roller eliminates the need for small radii that can cause filament jams. Loading is easy, simply push up on the load lever and then pull it down to retract the filament into the column bank. Easily print parts without supports using this retractable system. For a comprehensive guide, refer to the MMU2 Retract Bank.pdf file. Note: The note plate layout picture provides essential orientation information for the parts. Unfortunately, some STL files may require re-orientation before printing due to incorrect orientation. To enhance functionality, I added a filament guide that snaps onto Rubbermaid wire shelving as seen in the image. Please be aware that the wire shelves are not perfectly spaced, so some bending may be necessary to ensure a secure fit. The guide utilizes M5 to 4mm push-in pneumatic fittings for secure attachment.
