Prusa MMU2 Angled & Dropped Mounts
thingiverse
I've been having good success using the Underslung Control Panel by "universaljoint" and Horizontal Mounting Brackets by "zcubed", but I really wanted my setup to be slightly angled. I think this is ideal for reducing friction in the bowden tubes before and after the MMU2.0, which has greatly reduced jam-ups for me. So I took the mounts and remixed them into many different angles; the drop number listed is the amount of drop from the top of the Prusa i3 frame. These brackets are compatible with MK2.5 and MK3 models. For me, 15 degrees and 10mm drop brackets are a preferred option. I tried designing some 20, 25 or 30 degree mounts, but the mounting hole would intersect with lower frame tabs, so I gave up. Hopefully, there is an option here that you like. I did not use any of the Underslung Control Panel design data for my remix; I just listed it to show respect and link this mount bracket to his design, making it easier for others to find more easily. Prints can be made with no brim or supports.
