Prusa MMU mini buffer MK8
thingiverse
The wheels of innovation never stop turning. The MMU mini buffer now boasts version 8, featuring a sleek and streamlined design. This time around, the trusty cassette from version 7 is retained, but its spool sits proudly on original hardware borrowed from Prusa filament spools. To get started with this build, you'll need to gather several essential components. First up are five 608 bearings, followed by two filament rollers taken directly from the original Prusa filament spool holder. Rounding out your list should be three Teflon tube connectors and a short length of Teflon tube to bridge the cassette to the spool holder. When it comes to printing parts, you'll need to assemble the base, lid, two roller arms, cassette, and wheel. Fortunately, none of these components require pesky supports or rafts, making the build process a breeze.
