Prusa MK3S+ X end motor mount with limit switch
prusaprinters

Do you have a Prusa Mk3 but for some reason want an X axis limit switch?

Or do you have a Prusa Mk2s - Mk2.5s and want to try the Mk3 type X axis belt tension adjuster?

Then try this experimental hacked-together X axis motor mount.

As I have yet to print it let alone try it out as I am in the middle of a large printing project I have no idea if it works. It should work OK. Will print pictures and add results when I get around to making and installing it.

added: It printed out perfectly and works exactly as intended! I paired it with a modified Mk3S X axis Idler holder (using a 5mm I.D. pulley). My Mk2.5S now has a Mk3 X belt adjustment.

note: It is best to use the .3mf file, as the .stl file didn't export well, The .stl is likely to have insufficient depth for the limit switch screw holes.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

Mk2.5s

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.4

Infill:

20

Filament: prusament PETG Orange How I Designed This ===================

Entirely designed by chopping up original Prusa parts in Prusaslicer, merging and arranging to fit.

Category: 3D Printer Parts
