It is designed to use the entire case without having to sacrifice a part of it resulting in better cooling. 2.5x12 or 16 screws can be used to connect the mount to the case. PETG would be the prefered material to use as the part is load bearing and potentially subjected to temperatures that radiate from the case.</p>
