Simplistic reverse Bowden with an integrated cleaner (sponge) space on top of the extruder.

Print instructions

Category: 3D Printer Parts Print Settings

Printer: Prusa MK3S
Rafts: Doesn't Matter
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.2
Infill: 15%
Filament: Prusa PLA Silver

Notes:

Really simplistic reverse Bowden, but I wanted to include a filament cleaner at the same time and stay as close as possible to stock. So this is a little contribution.

I personally kept a length of PTFE tube on the spool to smoothen even more the filament pull. The second Bowden coupler on the top Z part is totally optional.

You only need to print either the 6mm or 9mm depending on your Bowden adapter. (PC4-M6 or PC4-M10 I think).

No catch, prints right away on my Prusa MK3S, no support needed. Just be careful to put the smaller opening of the cap on the bed and not on top to avoid troubles.

Parts: PTFE tube, 2 / 3 Bowden couplers (PC4-M6 or M10), roughly 90 min print.

PS: The included Gcode is for PC4-M10 couplers.

Assembly is quite easy: put a small piece of sponge in the cap, go through it with filament, load it, screw the cap and you're all set.

Made with Fusion 360.
