Prusa MK3S PiCam V2.1 X-axis mount combined with X-axis cable protection
prusaprinters

Based on the wonderful idea of tinkr3d (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/46866-prusa-mk3s-pi-camera-v21-mount-with-optional-x-axi) as well as various X-axis cable protection variants, I created a design that combines the advantages of both components. The cable protection now stabilizes the x-axis-cable and camera mount at the same time.

I created a new cable protector to hold the Raspberry camera bracket. I have adapted all parts of the camera mount accordingly for this.

I printed the bracket on the motor with the original Prusa PETG, the other parts in PLA.. The front cover of the camera I printed with a resolution of 0.1mm because of the stability of the small pins. I had to offset the pins by 0.5mm, the mounts of my camera board have a distance of 12.5mm (instead of 12mm).

For the assembly is needed:
1 cable tie (165x2.5mm)
1 screw M3 x 18
Both are included with the spare parts for the MK3S.

Update 01.01.2021:
Addition of the file with all models as STEP file. I would wish that many more users also share their model files (as well as tinkr3d , thank you very much). Editing STL files is usually a pain.

Print instructions

Category: 3D Printer Parts Summary

I printed the bracket on the motor with the original Prusa PETG, the other parts in PLA..
