5/22/2020 Revision to extruder-motor-plate_r5 to v25 Added cutout for Mosquito logo on Mosquito hot end. 5/12/2020 Revision to "extruder-motor-plate_r5" to v23. 1. Deepened the hole for the screw that holds the part cooling fan to the extruder body. Thanks johnmajersky for commenting that the part cooling fan was not secure enough. r5.0 Completely revised, due to editing files being extremely difficult based on how they were created. Prusa creates their 3D models in SCAD, which does not have a way to export to STEP for use in other CAD programs. A user notified me that some of the walls were too thin to print. The T-Mount is the only part that is reusable. Parts were test printed in PETG, 0.2mm layer, supports on build plate only. r4.0 Part Cooling Duct r4.0 Major modifications made to the duct to increase airflow and clearance from part. Including the Part Cooling Fan Support Bracket v2.0 with a couple small modifications to make it fit better. r2.0 Modified the part cooling fan duct after printing with PLA, I noticed my MK3s would error out on the fan when set to more than 80%. Discovered the fan duct was restricting air flow. Remember to print this one laying on its side. Did not use supports. Also modified the Part Cooling Fan Support Bracket, to better support the Radial Fan. This is a remix of stegenga's https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3515782 This is for Prusa's new 's' models with new filament sensor technology among other things. It has been tested in the following configurations: MK3s EXTRUDER BODY - Uses the stock 40mm cooling fan. PART FAN NOZZLE - Redesigned for two reasons. I have had problems with the original part fan nozzle melting while printing. Wanted a better view to the heater block and print nozzle. This should be printed laying down with the mounting arm on the print bed. PART FAN MOUNTING SUPPORT - Added to design for support of the part cooling fan. Mosquito T-Mount - Print upside down. No supports. This thing replaces the stock E3Dv6 hotend on a stock Prusa MK2.5s or MK3s with Slice Engineering’s Mosquito hotend. This installation uses the existing mounts and 3mm hardware found on the Prusa. You will need to provide a short (approximately 25mm) piece of PTFE tubing to complete the install. There is a small lip at the inlet of the extruder body and extruder mounting plate that holds the PTFE tube in place during retraction. PETG - 0.16 mm layer - 20% Infill It is highly recommended that you use a new thermistor and heater cartridge. The existing ones in the E3Dv6 hotend have been bent 90 degrees and lay alongside the heat block which can make them brittle over time. The Mosquito has the cables coming out straight as they were manufactured and they do not touch nor run along the heat block. You will need to rotate parts to print correctly. DO NOT FORGET to use the official Prusa documents to make sure you put in all capture nuts, BEFORE any assembly. The four Noctua fan mount screws just thread into the plastic.
