the 2 e-carriage parts are so you can insert a PTFE tube RIGHT UP to the gears. This prevents the filament from being able to wrap around the gears. The ptfe can almost be touching. Sorry I did not measure it but you can see from the pictures you just eyeball it where it should end in the middle of the gears. I used a new blade on a hobby knife and carved it out. There IS an orientation because it has to fit between the 2 gears. I lined it up with the heater block. It will be obvious if you do it wrong. I used a roll of 4mm OD ptfe from amazon. The last file is a revised back where the X belt gets held. Stock one has the right side belt (looking from front of printer) higher because stock uses a 20T x idler. I use a 16T x idler because I have the improved adjustable X ends. So the height of the belt has to be the same on both sides. This part is purely optional.
