No additional supports are necessary, but you might need to configure your slicer to detect bridging parameters. I discovered that some PETG filament brands tend to unspool early and catch on the printer, causing various motors to stall and prints to fail. This guide can be attached to the printer and slid around the filament after it has already been fed into the hot-end. You can use it with the same filament you printed it with, without removing the filament first!
