Based on the filament runner from JLTX, this system uses ubiquitous and affordable bearings and window rollers to route your filament smoothly. If you're like me and your filament feeds from low and to the side, this may significantly improve your quality of life by eliminating feed-related issues on your printer. The filament is trapped smoothly between two rolling concave POM surfaces that are free to rotate 360 degrees in the horizontal plane. Additionally, I've included some accessory mounts to restore your hexagon holes and potentially place any mounted items on a swivel as well. Non-printed parts required: 2 608 bearings (ZZ or otherwise), 2 POM 608 window rollers (30mm OD, 10mm thick). You might be able to use https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2356140 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2374756 instead, but I haven't tried this idea.
