Prusa MK3 Tilted Fan Adapter
thingiverse
This design is based on [2076234](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2076234), but it was created from scratch. The fan is positioned at a 45° angle, tilted upwards and forward. According to the author of the MK2 fan adapter, this arrangement has several benefits: * The fan draws in cooler air (instead of warm air from the bed) as it's directed upwards. * It reduces intake turbulence, preventing warping on this side of the bed. To install this design, you'll need to loosen the Noctua fan wires. I had to clip the zip ties behind the extruder body and pull an extra 3" or so through the wire wrap from the Einsy board until I could remove the fan far enough to reach the front of the mount. Then simply tuck the wires over the top of the mount and reinstall the zip ties when finished. The fan cover from the link above will fit if you want one. Mounting screws needed: * (4) M3 x 8mm (to attach to extruder body) * (4) M3 x 12mm (to secure fan)
