PRUSA MK3 - The Ultimate Spool Holder

<p>I designed this with a clip like the spool holder that comes with the MK3.</p> <p>Designed for a 200mm 1kg spool (specifically designed around eSun spools)</p> <p>I've used "The Ultimate Spool Holder" style holder to battle backlash. With the old filament holder and new rolls of PETG i was getting filament coming off the reel with long Y axis travels, it would then tangle around the spool holder. With this design the filament can not come off the reel as easily.</p> <p>I've also made a <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3110169">filament guide</a> to go with it.</p> <p><strong>Hardware required:</strong> 8x 16mm M3 Bolts and Nuts and 4x 608 Bearings</p> <p><strong>Version 2:</strong> fixes an issue with the print head hitting the bottom of the clip.</p> <p><a href="https://thingiverse-production-new.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/f7/6e/dd/ba/81/PRUSA_MK3_-_The_Ultimate_Spool_Holder_settings.png">My print settings</a></p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
