The spool holder that comes bundled with the Prusa Mk3 is robust and suitable for large spools.\nHowever, its arm is excessively long for the standard 1kg spools commonly used.\nTo keep my spool snugly in place, I designed this spacer to secure it.\n\nA user discovered that their spool holder's arm measures 2.4cm thick instead of the stated 2cm.\nThis finding suggests that not all Prusa spool holders are identical (my own is indeed 2cm). \nBefore printing, it's essential to measure your spool holder's size accurately.\n\nA revised version of this spacer has been created by Nickwren, specifically for spool holders measuring 24mm thick.
