Prusa MK3(s) Bear upgrade PSU holder 114x50
thingiverse
I am upgrading my Prusa MK3S to a Bear frame. Unfortunately, I'm working with a generic PSU that's 50 x 112 millimeters in size. It won't fit into standard Bear PSU mounts, so I've come up with this solution. The lower mount fits snugly into the case bottom and is secured by a M3 square nut on the mount and a M3 bolt going through both mount and case. The upper mount bolts directly onto the PSU. To complete the job, you'll need three T nuts and bolts to attach to the frame, as well as several M4 bolts to secure the case to the PSU itself. Update: Mounting nuts to the mains connector proved to be a challenge, mainly because it was originally designed with a separate bottom part. To resolve this issue, I changed the design so that two square M4 nuts can be slid into place from above. I haven't had a chance to try out my solution yet; instead, I managed to get normal nuts onto the bolts after a great deal of struggle.
