Prusa MK3 Rotation Indicator Flux Capacitor
cults3d
Turn your Prusa MK3 into a Time Travel Machine with the Prusa MK3 Flux Capacitor - a clever hack by Petclaud that doubles as a rotation indicator. It's not for the faint of heart, but those who dare to time travel will find it worth the effort. Print individual parts and assemble them using super glue, a process that requires patience but yields an incredible result. To complete the build, attach an 8mm (.315) diameter magnet to the center part - Home Depot offers a pack of ten for just $4.00. The model was printed at a .2mm layer height, with PrusaControl adding color changes to the lettering on the part. While it may seem like a minor detail, it adds a touch of sophistication to this time-traveling machine. As a warning, I take no responsibility for any disruptions caused to the Space-Time Continuum. https://youtu.be/fUgHyT4Zc_Y 09/03/18 A new bezel design has been added - Flux-02-R3 - which is compatible with the updated R3 extruder. Although I haven't upgraded yet, I've used the latest MK3 Solidworks models from Thingiverse to modify it, so hopefully it fits seamlessly. With the MMU2 on order, my next upgrade will be to replace the extruder when it arrives.
