The Prusa i3 MK3 is an incredible machine, a testament to perseverance and innovative design. One component, however, drives me to the brink of fury - the PINDA mount. The clamp's subtle resistance makes fine-tuning the probe's height a frustrating ordeal ("Just a bit more...just a tad harder...just a dash more, please!"). Its flimsy nature only adds to my frustration, as it can shatter into fragments at the slightest glance. I created this replacement for the stock MK3 "Extruder Body" part to provide a sturdy anchor for the probe. By securing it at the precise height above the print bed and locking it in place with the small zip ties that come with the MK3, I aimed to eliminate any issues related to probe stability. After using it for a week, I've experienced unparalleled printing success, and my joy is palpable.
