Prusa MK3 PSU FAN 120 mount

This is a custom mount for a 120x120x25mm 5V USB fan designed specifically to enhance the original Prusa i3 MK3 PSU's cooling system. I placed the PSU outside of the enclosure but it still gets extremely hot, especially during the Summer months. To combat this issue, I decided to utilize a 5V USB fan that provides efficient airflow and is remarkably silent. The 120x120x25mm USB fans are known for their whisper-quiet operation and sufficient CFM to effectively cool down the PSU. After using it for several months, the noticeable temperature difference at touch is undeniable. You can also use 12V or 24V 120x120 fans but they might not be as quiet. I opted for a 5V USB fan for its optimal performance and reduced noise level. Since my PSU is positioned vertically, I designed this custom mount to place the FAN in close proximity to the PSU while occupying minimal space possible. The mount fits snugly without requiring any tape or other fixture material on the inside. I printed it using ABS as it's my preferred material for all prints due to its excellent printing properties. Required materials include: - 120 x 120 x 25 mm 5V USB FAN - 2 M4x40 machine screws - 2 M4 nuts - Regular phone charger (5V USB PSU) You can use longer screws if needed, as they won't interfere with the PSU. I created this design in SOLIDWORKS 2019 and provided it in various formats for easy importation and modification to suit your specific needs.
