Prusa MK3 NozzleCam

Prusa MK3 NozzleCam

This is a multi-part design for an adjustable 5.5mm nozzle camera system that can be mounted directly to the extruder carriage of a Prusa MK3. The STL contains all necessary parts, including a modified extruder cable holder, an adjustable boroscope holder, and some cable clips for guiding the borosocpe cable through the extruder cable bundle. The borosocpe mount is fully adjustable to ensure the camera stays safely out of the way while maintaining optimal nozzle alignment. To secure the boroscope to the extruder carriage, the cable holder was modified to include a slot for an M3 nut and several printability enhancements. A larger cable exit angle has also been added. In my assembly setup, the camera just clears the heatbed cable cover, so this is something to watch out for before starting a new print. If clearance becomes too tight, the height of the camera can be adjusted slightly. Assembly requires one M3 nut and one 10mm M3 bolt, which should be included in the spare parts bag that comes with the MK3 kit. This model is designed to be printed in PETG due to the high temperatures reached by the camera during operation.
