I "acquired" someone's falcon, gave it a makeover, but I'm stumped - can't seem to track down the original creator of this sleek falcon. No worries, total newbie here. First off, print the control Knob upside-down without any supports. Trust me, if you add supports, getting them out will be a real pain in the neck. For this one, go with 100% infill and a layer height of .15 mm. Next up, print the falcon separately, this time with supports. Point it upwards and slap on a big brim - at least 5 mm will do. I used Slicr Prusa Edition to slice it, set the supports to zero for auto-generation. Same specs as before: 100% infill and .15 mm layer height. The falcon clicks right onto the control knob like a charm. The rotation and scrolling are spot on, and moving the z-height with this new knob is a huge improvement over the stock one. Plus, it looks absolutely stunning.
