Prusa MK3 Fine tune improvements & reinforced Y axis
thingiverse
This is an improved version of Athruz's great post. You can now secure the Y belt holder with zip ties to prevent slippage. In my case, achieving 270 tension on the belt for long-term stability requires this modification from the original holder. There is a comprehensive write-up by RHDreambox on the Prusa forum that deserves credit - check it out for more fixes he implemented effectively on all three axes. He was a primary contributor to this file and thought process. Visit https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3-f30/fine-tune-your-mk3-y-axis-t13851.html#p63653 to explore his work further. You may need to switch to a 12 mm M3 screw instead of the standard 10 mm M3, as this mount is slightly thicker and requires a longer screw. Additionally, drilling a new hole for the third motor screw is optional but recommended.
