PRUSA Mk3 Filament Guide

PRUSA Mk3 Filament Guide

The Prusa MK3 has some pretty narrow tolerances when it comes to clearance with things mounted directly to the frame and extruder carriage. This design aims to maximize printing height without the print carriage colliding with the filament guide, which also helps prevent potential issues during calibration. I created this custom part to allow for maximum printing height while avoiding collisions between the print carriage and the filament guide. It will also help prevent problems that can arise during calibration. Additionally, I have remixed spool holder brackets for the Mk3 available in my designs. Update 5/07/19: Based on feedback, I've made some angle adjustments to provide additional clearance for things like the filament sensor while still maintaining compatibility with the spool holder. I've also added a closed loop option for those who want it. For reference, I'll leave the old files available in case anyone wants them. Furthermore, I added a 2-piece version with a larger hole for users who might find it useful. If any issues arise with these designs, please don't hesitate to let me know.
