Here is my custom filament guide design. Since I have my drybox spool holder positioned under my printer, I needed a filament guide to help me pull the filament from below the printer. This led me to come up with this specific design. It's straightforward and robust, and it has successfully served me during many hours of printing without ever failing once. My goal was to create a design that could accommodate a ball bearing with an outer diameter of 26mm, inner diameter of 9mm, and width of 7mm (which I happened to have on hand). I'm quite pleased with the result, as it feeds the filament in a straight line directly to the extruder, while also preventing jams or scratches due to its clever bearing-based design.
