Prusa MK3 Extruder Cable Cover
thingiverse
I spend a lot of time messing around with my machine, which means I go through tons of zipties when I need to fiddle with the wiring. Frustrated by wasting all those zipties, I decided to design this cable cover. It uses two M3x10 screws and two nuts that match them. The textile sleeve makes it a bit tricky to screw the two halves together, but there shouldn't be any trouble fitting all the wires in; I designed it with some extra room inside so after it's on, you should be able to slide the whole thing up and down a bit to make sure everything fits comfortably. There are two bumps on the inside of each half that catch the notches where the zipties would normally go, preventing it from sliding backwards. I couldn't get the textile sleeve to look neat when I had it ziptied with the heater cartridge and thermistor cables going in through the bottom, so this solves that problem too. The sleeve should stop just before the piece that sticks out.
