Prusa MK3 Enclosure Bracket for LCD Controller

I've been working on making the Prusa Enclosure and I wanted to move my LCD controller to the front of the cabinet. If you haven't built one yet, they are amazing. I aimed to make the profile of the bracket as compact as possible while using the existing controller's mount. The resulting design allows for the LCD controller to be easily docked or undocked. In order to make the two 10-pin IDC connectors reach from the control box to the front of the enclosure, you will need to move your printer forward about an inch and use a feedthrough port directly below your control box (STL's included in Download). The feedthrough uses a 2-inch hole-saw for installation. There are three screw holes surrounding the feedthrough port that are optional. **Please Note: When choosing the position for the feedthrough, make sure to take the rubber foot on the back corner into consideration. If you look at the picture I uploaded of the feedthrough, you can see the rubber foot is almost on top of it. Ideally, I should have moved the feedthrough more towards the outside edge. Once the feedthrough is in place, the rest is straightforward: 1. Disconnect 2 ten-pin IDC connectors from the display and note one half. 2. Remove the LCD from the printer by removing the four M3 screws holding it onto the printer. 3. Use the above screws to mount two "extContMnt_dove_15.STL" onto the existing mount. Please Note - If you install them upside down, they won't work (see picture). 4. Mount the "extContMnt_bracket_v2.STL" wherever you want your LCD controller using two #8 wood screws. 5. The LCD Controller should slide right in. 6. Using clips from the Prusa Enclosure attach the flat LCD controller wires underneath. 7. Reconnect your ten-pin IDC connectors noting one half. Please Note: The arrow on the bracket indicates its center. If you want to perfectly center the bracket on the enclosure, find the center and line it up with this point.
