I built this part for my Prusa MK3, eager to capture great timelapse videos from any corner without relocating my printer or digging out a screwdriver. Edit: Version 1.0 is the ultimate solution, thoroughly tested and ready to work seamlessly with your Prusa MK3 right out of the box. This can be printed without supports at standard Prusa Slicer MK3 settings on included PLA filament, as proven here: https://youtu.be/hUcsenczMOE * It snaps onto place and secures with a zip tie - No Assembly required! I drew inspiration from Prusa's use of zip tie channels for cable management. * It is fully adjustable in any direction. * You can position it in any corner except the back left one. Be cautious when placing your camera to avoid hitting the hot end! * It prints without support needed on MK3 with PLA, ready to go right out of the box using default settings on your Prusa MK3. * I left a generous gap to the heatbed to prevent deformation of PLA. If you prefer, print with PET-G for added durability over time. * Adjusting and printing any length dumb-bell connector is effortless.
