prusa mk3 angled heatbed cover
thingiverse
The amount of additional space consumed by the original Prusa heatbed cover is utterly ridiculous. By crafting this low-profile, 90-degree angled heatbed connector, along with other space-saving features, I was able to fit my printer snugly into an IKEA Stuva cabinet. Plus, in my opinion, it looks significantly more stylish. One downside is that the cables need to be soldered directly onto the bed. This design utilizes M3x12 countersunk screws accompanied by hex nuts (which are not included with the Prusa kit). If the cables aren't precisely the correct length, they might come into contact with the extruder cables. Therefore, it's essential to test them before cutting them down to size. In my case, mine touch slightly during bed leveling, but this has never caused any issues.
