PRUSA Mk2S Mean Well LRS / RSP specific PSU mount

thingiverse

This is a PSU mount designed for the Mean Well LRS-350 or RSP-320, ideal for upgrading the power supply of the PRUSA Mk.2 with a more powerful unit. It will likely fit other Mean Well power supplies in the LRS or RSP series as well. The design is a remix of Frio's excellent Mean Well LRS-350 specific mount for the PRUSA Mk3, available on Thingiverse under this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3329838 There are two versions to choose from: "Drill" and "No Drill". The "Drill" version requires drilling two 4mm holes in the metal frame of the Mk.2 to match the Mean Well mounting holes, while the Back Plate Adapter for the "No Drill" version serves as a good drilling template. I opted for the "Drill" version since I prefer the grounded metal case of the Power Supply to be directly bolted to the metal frame of the PRUSA. It fit my Mk.2S perfectly. The "No Drill" version, on the other hand, features a back plate adaptor that adapts the Mean Well PSU to the existing holes in the Mk.2 frame. This moves the Power Supply back 7mm and electrically isolates the PSU case from the PRUSA frame. Although I didn't mount this version, the test fit seemed okay, but it might need some adjustment. This design printed well at .2mm in ABS with no supports on the Bottom Cap or Back Plate and "touching build plate only" supports on the Cover itself.
