Prusa MK2S Low Profile Screen Mount (Lack Enclosure)

Prusa MK2S Low Profile Screen Mount (Lack Enclosure)

This is a brand new mount and cover designed specifically for the Prusa i3 MK2S. I needed to relocate the LCD screen further inward so that my printer could fit snugly into its Lack enclosure. With the screen now aligned at roughly the same level as the build plate's edge when fully extended, it makes room for a more seamless setup. The mounts themselves have been shortened by approximately 16mm and the cover has been trimmed down by about 5mm due to the chamfered edge at the bottom. To make things even easier, I've included the 10mm version of the mounts, which can be used as an alternative if you don't want to print the new screen cover. However, using just these mounts would result in a clash between the back corners of the original screen cover and the front feet of the printer if I had gone any shorter. Now that this upgrade is complete, I'm thrilled to report that there's finally no interference between the heatbed cables and the back of the enclosure. The original .ipt files are attached for anyone who wants to make any modifications or adjustments to suit their specific needs.
