Edit 1-3-20 Moved the PINDA mount up 3mm, rounded off the right side of each mount and increased the pin holes by .05mm since mine printed a bit tight. Someone mentioned "find a way to mount the PINDA without a zip tie but there is just not enough meat on that part to do it with screws so I think a few ties would be sufficient. *** Edit1-2-20 ***- Hemera arrived and I found out how dumb I was. Once the extruder was mounted several of the brass inserts were covered. I did not realize this since I never mounted the extruder until today. Just a dumb moment. Here is the revised mount, Swapped out 2 brass inserts for pins and added 2 at the bottom and extended it just enough to capture the brass insets. I think this is acceptable at this point! *** Reworked some features and added back a few brass inserts for rigidity. *** Had to edit the brass inserts to only 3 since I left out the lower belt slot. I still think that will be more than sufficient since the original was held on with zip ties. *** 1/1/20: Edited the bottom of each mount for a bit more meat for the brass inset and screw. Added some zip tie holes in the wire chase and a few more fillets overall. I have printed the files and the fit well overall. I have not been able to test it with the Hemera yet since I currently do not have the unit yet. This will be going on an old Prusa MK2S modified to the full Bear version when the extruder arrives. Original: Here is what I came up with for the Prusa MK2S. I think this will work but I have not tried it yet. It does require brass inserts from the red to green parts. Based off the X -carriage from Zaribo. Can't wait to try it out and see. Anyone willing to double check my work? Still a work in progress but I don't see any reason this would not work. The PINDA probe should be in the same location as well as the X end stop hopefully. Forgive the crude drawing but was in a hurry and did not feel like firing up Fusion again.
