Prusa MK2(S) steel sheet adapters (for MK42 bed)
thingiverse
I've ordered adapters to hold the spring steel sheets on my Prusa MK2S Bear clone's MK42 bed. Printing low-profile adapters seems like a good idea, especially when fan shrouds are close to the bed. I printed these parts with Azurefilm's ABS-P filament and they seem to be holding up well during ABS prints at 95°C bed temperature. The adapters clip onto the hexagon metal spacers below the heatbed. Before starting any print, I recommend recalibrating Live Z. A simple Live Z calibration should suffice; however, if you choose to do a full XYZ calibration, you'll need to remove the steel sheet first, just like with the MK2.5 and MK3. If you'd like to make modifications, Solidworks files are also available.
