The original design featured a straightforward extruder mount, but it relied on zip ties to secure them firmly onto the metal frame. Maintenance tasks involving these extruders necessitated cutting the zip ties, resulting in unnecessary waste and further consumption of these plastic fasteners. To circumvent this inconvenience, we've redesigned the extruder mount to eliminate the need for zip ties altogether. This simplified design enables effortless cleaning of the extruders, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance. In cases where the extruder develops a grinding issue with the filament, easy access for cleaning is now possible. Furthermore, "lock.stl" files are available as optional but highly recommended features to prevent accidental dislodging of the extruders from their mounts, which were previously held in place by nothing more than friction.
