Little help for those who own the Original Prusa MK2 or MK2S. If you're looking to create a closed system that transmits filaments through a Teflon tube into the extruder from a box, I've got you covered. I built an adapter on top of which fits the extruder screw with a PTFE quick connector - check it out at https://www.hestore.hu/prod_10036197.html. You'll also want to replace the idler extruder that's modeled again. The box itself can be any plastic container that fits freely, rolling around the filament winding bearings. I used a Tesco-bought box and edited the clips to lock it in place, sealing the adhesive lip with a "P" rubber seal. To keep the filament dry, I filled the box with silica gel packets - moisture from the air can be a real problem, causing print quality issues. Here are my print settings: Printer: DonMacko 3D Printer Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 30%
