Prusa MK2 I3 Heatbed Cover Groing

<p>After I have repeatedly broken the Prusa heating bed covers, and finally the cables from the heating bed torn, I decided to redesign the cover.</p> <p>In my design, I have made sure that the screw does not break so quickly from the cover. In addition, I have taken care that the 3mm filament is attached further back and the recording can not break out so quickly.</p> <p>On the cover, there are great forces during the printing process, which it must take up the cover.</p> <p>In the case of the original part, this ultimately failed to total cable breakage, which led to a change of the heating bed with subsequent rewiring.</p> <p>Greeting JFW Blaschke</p> <p>Nachdem mir immer wieder die Heizbettabdeckungen von Prusa zerbrochen sind, und letztendlich dabei die Kabel vom Heizbett abgerissen sind, habe ich mich entschieden die Abdeckung neu zu gestalten.</p> <p>Bei meinem Design habe ich darauf geachtet das die Schraube nicht mehr so schnell aus dem Cover bricht. Außerdem habe ich darauf geachtet das das 3mm Filament weiter hinten angebracht ist und die Aufnahme nicht mehr so schnell ausbrechen kann.</p> <p>Auf dem Cover wirken nämlich während des Druckvorganges große Kräfte, die das Cover aufnehmen muss.</p> <p>Bei dem Originalteil hat das nämlich letztendlich zum totalen Kabelabriss geführt, was einen Wechsel des Heizbettes mit anschließender Neuverkabelung geführt hat.</p> <p>Gruß JFW Blaschke</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer Brand:</strong></p> <p>Prusa</p> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>Prusa Mk2</p> <p><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>Yes</p> <p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p> <p>0.4 nozzle</p> <p><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>100%</p> <p><strong>Notes:</strong></p> <p>This is a completely new design, which I have completely redesigned.</p> <p>There is only so much to say about the parameters of 3D printing. In these dimensions it is advisable to print with 100% infill.</p> <p>Support is actually not necessary.</p> <p>The connections on the MK42-Heatbed also give no more space. Of the dimensions, the cover is slightly wider and the cable recording has become somewhat more stable. On the other hand, I have not changed anything in height because the print head should not collide with the cover when the print surface is used.</p> <p>Dies ist ein völlig neues Design welches ich komplett neu konstruiert habe. Zu den Parametern des 3D Drucks ist nur so viel zu sagen, In diesen Dimensionen ist es Ratsam mit 100 % Infill zu drucken.</p> <p>Support ist eigentlich nicht nötig.</p> <p>Die Anschlüsse auf dem MK42-Heatbed geben ja auch nicht mehr Platz her. Von den Dimensionen ist das Cover ein wenig breiter und die Kabelaufnahme etwas stabiler geworden. In der Bauhöhe habe ich dagegen nichts verändert, da der Druckkopf nicht bei Ausnutzung der Druckfläche mit der Abdeckung kollidieren soll.</p> <h3>Custom Section</h3> <p><strong>Material:</strong></p> <p>It is better to print the cover in ABS because ABS tolerates more heat than PLA. Do not cover the cover after installation with zip-ties to the cables. This ensures that the cables are unloaded and can no longer be torn off.</p> <p>V9 is now the final version of my cover.</p> <p>Es ist besser das Cover in ABS zu drucken, da ABS mehr Hitze verträgt als PLA.Vergesst nicht das Cover nach dem Einbau mit Kabelbindern an den Kabeln zu sichern.
