Prusa Mini Z-Base with additional support for PSU cable
prusaprinters

The PSU cable plug sticks out quite a bit from the Prusa Mini and therefor this can result in unwanted strain on the connector. This mod helps stabilizing the connector. You don't really lose space as you would have to keep that area clear for the cable anyway.

This is based on the original Z-Base (R8) as found on Prusas Github. Prusa suggests printing in PETG for their parts and so do I.

You need:

2 x M3 threaded inserts

2 x M3 screw (8-10mm length)

(as always: don't overtorque)

important for slicing: This barely fits the Mini's build plate. You have to rotate it correctly and also disable the skirt (set loops = 0 in skirt and brim settings).
