Pardon my dust, I will try to keep everything organized within the .3mf files. This setup allows you to perform multicolor prints on the same layer using manual filament swaps but attempts to keep things more automated much like the MMU upgrade by providing automatic print pauses and menu cues for filament swaps as well as correct head parking locations and other features to minimize stringing during color changes. Two files exist, one is for the Prusa Mini print bed and the other is for the MK3 but both covers are meant to fit onto the Mini and are otherwise identical. When purging colors I find it helpful to keep a long pair of tweezers at the end of the nozzle to pinch off any excess stringing before it returns to the print after you have completed a color swap. The purge tower is purposely set small because its only job is to park the head before swapping colors to minimize stringing, it also gives the nozzle a place to equalize pressure before returning to the print, however YOU are responsible for purging the correct amount of material during the filament swap until the correct color is achieved, I find it takes longer using the full purge tower than just purging filament manually this way during a color swap. You can add or remove colors as you desire, if you want to add even more just add extra extruders under printer settings, make sure to keep track of the color swap order!I find it best to go to the first layer in the layer preview and on the bottom you can move the timeline back on the first layer to easily see what order the color swaps will occur in.The current modifiers (Josef Prusa's Face & Hexagons) are only a single layer thick, and can be changed to negative volumes instead of modifiers to give a neat textured effect that does not require any filament swaps! The “3030 rail” modifier has been purposely left floating in the center as a part modifier in case you would like to adjust its length to for example accommodate the yellow sticker that comes on the front of the Prusa Mini, the cover can also mask the sticker without ripping it off if you would like to keep it. This was a fun experiment with PrusaSlicer modifiers! As the only CAD work that I actually did outside of the slicer was the base cover, hexagons and a light modification of the rails to make them stronger, everything else was entirely done within PrusaSlicer!I did use other models to accomplish this design and I would like to give credit to the following:Dominik Císař PrusaCoin MMU (Josef Prusa Face)der-pw Prusa Mini/Mini+ 3030-Profile Slot Cover (Rails Used For Cover Before Modification)Thank you! PS:Yes to those wondering I have solved the issue of the M600 command triggering right after the purge line (how annoying that was!) you should not have any more issue at the start of the print, the secret is in the tool change script ;-) Happy Printing!
