Prusa MINI spool holder adapter for smaller diameter spools

Prusa MINI spool holder adapter for smaller diameter spools

The spool holder that comes with the Original Prusa MINI+ works great with regular-sized filament spools, but the bearings are too far apart for smaller diameter spools (e.g. 250g). So, I created a little adapter for the existing spool holder instead of building/getting an entirely new one. Had a pair of **686Z ball bearings** (6x13x5 mm) lying around, so I simply used those. The're pretty inexpensive if you need to get some first. You'll need to print the "spoolholder" part 4 times and the "endstop" twice. Slide a ball bearing on two of the side pieces, then attach the other halves and secure with some CA glue. The holder pieces are just placed in the middle of the spool holder sides; not tape or similar required. The end stops are just there to keep the holder pieces from sliding off to the side when a spool is put onto them. Simply place them between the holder pieces and the larger bearings. Printed using PLA, but PETG, ASA etc. should work just as well. Infill: 15% Layer height: 0.2 mm Printed on **Original Prusa MINI+**
