<p>A remix of the fantastic RH_Dreambox fan shroud for MK3 to fit the prusa mini. Files fitting both original Mini and Rev 2 included.</p> <p><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3249344">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3249344</a></p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>EDIT 2021-02-16<br/> The shroud has been lowered 3 mm because it sat too high before. Should work better.</p> <p>Instructions:</p> <ol> <li>Print the fan shroud in at least PETG but preferably ABS or PC if you're gonna print anything else than PLA with it.</li> </ol> <p>I have included a modded R2 MINDA holder which doesn't obstruct the shroud, so print that too if you're using R2.</p> <ol> <li><p>Cut the zip tie at the X carriage holding the cable bundle.</p> </li> <li><p>Remove the one M3x20 screw holding the 5015 part cooling fan along with the M3 nut on the other side of the fan.</p> </li> <li><p>Fasten the shroud to the heatsink using the M3x8 screw.</p> </li> <li><p>Fasten the 5015 fan to the shroud using the M3x20 screw you salvaged from the previous position and the M3 nut.</p> </li> <li><p>Fasten the modified minda rev2 holder.</p> </li> <li><p>Zip tie the cable bundle again.</p> </li> <li><p>Happy printing!</p> </li> </ol> <p>(extended) Bill of materials:<br/> 1x M3x8<br/> 1x Zip tie</p> <p>Credits:<br/> Prusa Research<br/> RH_Dreambox<br/> Thanks anonymous community member for the great work of adapting the MINDA holder to retain the cooling performance as best as possible.
