Prusa Mini Multicolor Front Y-Plate (No MMU2S!!)
prusaprinters

I wanted to add some color to the front cover plate of my Prusa Mini so I modified the G-code to allow this to do so without the use of MMU2S. The G-code is ready to go for a Prusa Mini, just download and print!

Print instructions

The colors I chose to use were white for "Original Prusa" text, Prusament Orange for "Mini" text and black for plate body. There will be a total of 9 color changes throughout the first 3 layers to make this happen.

Here is the order for the color changes based on the colors that I chose to use:

Start with White, 1) change to Orange, 2) change to White, 3) Change to Black, 4) change to Orange, 5) change to White, 6) change to Black, 7) change to White, 8) change to Orange, 9) change to Black

For the first layer, I recommend printing at a speed of no more than 50% to make sure you get good adhesion for all the letters. After the letters are all down, I bumped speed back up to 100%
