Prusa Mini Multi Drawers for Lack Enclosure
prusaprinters
I did not want a bunch of large drawers to keep a few things organized underneath the enclosure. I split the double drawer print into 3 separate drawers with a top tray for quicker access to daily used items. ** Also modeled the larger drawer to fit in conjunction with this print. Remixed from https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/34419 Print instructionsPrinted in PETG with basic settings (2 perimeters and 10% infill). Set Scale Factors 10% for all prints and print the small drawer x 3. Only the larger drawer has to be placed at a 45 deg in order to fit on the Mini's bed. Drawers have a recess for an 8x3mm magnet in the back , the top tray has recesses on both sides towards the front in order to hold it closed. The magnet recesses between the large drawer and split drawers are directly opposite, index the magnets in those locations not to oppose. I only inserted 1 magnet on the left side of the tray (2 might be too much, personal choice) since a magnet was already inserted to help the alignment next to the larger drawer. The larger drawer was modified only on the right side to work with the split drawers. Unfortunately this will not line up cleanly if you are trying to add it to an existing printed drawer. There are 2 ver for the Split Drawers, after printing I realized the edges of the tray were dipping, so I added edge rails to the design for support. The images shown are for the basic Lack Drawer Split. ***Also it is a good idea to dry fit and index the magnets (sharpie) prior to glueing them in or else you may end up breaking a tip off a knife or having to reprint a drawer or two.
