Prusa Mini "MIDI" (Y Axis Front Plate Re-Label)
thingiverse
Simple Remix of the Original Prusa Mini Y Axis Front Plate to read "Midi". My Prusa Mini build started as something to do with some leftover parts I had lying around from an i3 clone, while waiting for my actual Prusa Mini Order to ship in the spring. I had some typical 220x220 heat-beds and build surfaces, lots of 300 and 320mm guide rods, and NEMA 17 steppers. Had a few E3D V6 clones, so I ordered up a SKR Mini E3 board and 3.5 Touchscreen display, and started remixing parts to put something together. Had to order the 10mm guide rods and bearings, but it's come together nicely. As of 02/22/2020, I just need to finish adjusting the firmware file for this configuration, and to display the touchscreen in Portrait Mode to fit this form factor. What I've ended up with is a 220mm cube build volume printer (similar to original i3 or Ender 3, but in a much smaller frame. We will see how well it works, but a bowden fed V6 and TMC2209 steppers can't be too bad!
