Prusa Mini Legs/Base
thingiverse
These legs were a significant upgrade to the rather wobbly design of the mini, I printed them in PETG for better durability. The z-axis leg is best printed standing on its smallest side with supports to the block which holds the electronics box of the printer. To assemble, remove all the foam pads, the y-axis belt in the front, as well as the display and the front cover. be careful not to drop the linear bearings and keep in mind that the rails are greased up. I layed the printer on its rear side for easy assembly. It took some light tapping with a Hammer to fit them into the aluminum extrusions, once positioned they're a perfect friction fit. Should they be too tight for you, a little sanding will surely do the trick. One last add-on is some rubber or foam pads glued to the bottom of the feet to reduce vibrations and keep the system as quiet as possible. I opted for shorter legs on the left extrusion as shown in the pictures, however if you desire perfect symmetry, there's an "alt leg" which is a mirror copy of the "display leg". I'd be happy to see your results if you decide to print it yourself :) Have fun printing! (They were printed on the mini+, not a mk3)
