<p>This super simple LED bar is connected to the Z-axis steppermotor; no additional parts required.</p><p>In my situation both a lux sensor and the LED bar are connected with a Wemos D1 mini, code written with ESP-Home.</p><p>Node-RED checks whether printing is taking place (Octoprint integration in HomeAssistant) and when it is dark, the LED bar is switched on, and switches off an hour after printing.</p>
