<p>Print both parts, clean them up and click them together. I also recommend putting some light lubrication (like silicon oil or dry teflon spray) on the bearing surfaces to prevent binding. The centre should be spinning freely. This is meant to reduce input errors when you're trying to press the encoder to select but actually turn it a bit when pressing, so you click on a wrong thing. It is also smaller so it should enable you to scroll through the menus faster.</p>
