Prusa Mini Frame feet and control box upgrade
thingiverse
I have designed an entirely new control box and squash-ball feet for the Prusa Mini printer, significantly enhancing its overall structure and functionality. The feet are specifically designed to accommodate squash balls similar to those used in mk3s feet, which can be easily sourced from Amazon. I have taken several steps to strengthen the control box, including increasing the thickness of its walls and adding additional securing points to securely attach it to the metal extrusions. Additionally, I have rounded the corners and incorporated fillets into the design, ensuring a more robust frame overall. As an update on May 13th, 2020, I made some adjustments to the design. Specifically, I reduced the height of the extrusion mounting tabs to accommodate normal 3030 T-nuts, making it easier for users to assemble the printer. Furthermore, I have included a 3D model example for reference. If this updated control box and squash-ball feet design has been helpful to you, please consider donating to my PayPal account. This will not only show your appreciation but also contribute towards covering the time and effort invested in designing these improvements. Thank you, James
