Prusa Mini Buffer Mk3

Prusa Mini Buffer Mk3

thingiverse

I decided to design my own buffer, as I never really saw the point in using the Prusa MMU buffer. This is now my third iteration of the design. To use it, simply connect it to your MMU teflon tube via a bowden connector - this will cause the filament to unspool into a loop. When you need to use the filament again, it will simply spool back in. You won't need any auto-rewinding spool holders etc. To build this design, you'll need 2 lengths of teflon tubing and a 608 bearing - both are readily available. I have provided two versions of the parts: one for a single-color MK3 and another for an MMU MK3. The MMU version is labeled as such. You can print these parts without any supports, using whatever settings you feel are best.
