I designed a 3-bearing x-carriage for use with a Wade-Greg Extruder, which I call the Ex-chariot - my extruder rides it around all day. The ex-chariot prints as one big piece plus two little belt-clips, and the STL named "Exchariot SUPPORTED with belt clip and fan mount.stl" has supports drawn in already and all the pieces plated and ready to slice. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa Mendel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: Moderate Infill: 100% Notes: I recommend PETG for this, but ABS will work also. The little struts running at 45 degrees on the bottom side of the Ex-Chariot are not structural; they're just so you have somewhere to wrap or ziptie your wires. Post-Printing Hardware: 3x LM8UU Linear Bearings 4x M3 Nuts and bolts for Bearing Clips 2x M4 nuts and bolts to attach a Wade-Greg extruder 2x screws or something to attach the fan mount to the Ex-Chariot How I Designed This I drew this model in Sketchup, sliced with Repetier/Sli3r, and fixed some STLs with netfabb.azurewebsites.net. The LM8UU bearing mounts and the Belt Clips are based on Wired1's Mendel Prusa ~ Max ~ Prism Y-carriage.
