Prusa Mendel Tool Holder

Prusa Mendel Tool Holder

Using a modified "Greg's X Carriage" for Prusa Mendel i2, I've added a holder that allows for interchangeable heads. The first attachment is a cheap Dremel holding an engraving bit, and future plans include adding small laser engraving lasers and large cutting lasers. Note: This is an i2, where the x-rails are horizontal, unlike the vertical orientation of the i3. To-Do: 1. The carrier needs a Z-Endstop sensor mount, and I'll improve the through hole for the wire tie. 2. I need to remove the area covering the screws that hold down the belt; the cutouts aren't deep enough, and that whole section is likely unnecessary. 3. Improving the upper clamp: I believe the design should have a 160-degree arc, not the current 180 degrees, and the size of the arc needs to match the correct circumference of the Dremel, rather than the reduced size I've currently implemented; it works, but I'm unsure if it's accurate.
